I was trying to think of the best team to have when playing DOTD and this is what i think.

1. FIREBAT
2. ENGINEER
3. MEDIC
4. MEDIC
5. DEMO
6. MACHINEGUNNER
7. MACHINEGUNNER / ASSAULTMAN
8. SCOUT

I think with this team you can own the streets. What do you think the best team is?

No offense, wrong thread.

But.... that would seem like a good team but change one of the Machine Gunners to a Sniper and THEN you have a nice team

If every member knows his job well, I guess that's pretty much the best set-up.
I'd also rather want to see a sniper than a second MG, but that's due to personal preferences.

I dunno... after playing with Looksik as a 2nd MG... I have to say its probably the best combination to have 2 MG's a Scout, Assault, Eng, 2 medics, and a Firebat.

Mmm.... Give the 2 MGs JHP Ammo and the Firebat a couple E Cells and then your good to go

Edit: Don't forget Suppressive Fire!!

Well the point of the 2 MG's is that one max's out his aura and the other gets crit/ammo feed/ rapid fire. Also, Uranium Ammo and SAW or AA or something.

sure double MG can make a carnage , but not sure about the scout in Hell mode , maybe better chang eit by a sniper

Scout can be used very effectively to find the boss's and prepare the team for which direction and how close they are.. in Hell I find this can be a large improvement for the Demo as well.

I think the list above is the best team there can be. They all support each other one way or another.

2 firebats are good for front cover and rear cover, demo is at front and assualt is at teh rear the mg in the middle with teh sniper and teh two medics on eitehr end.

hum... you're seeing the firebat as an assault unit?
he's the only one with defensive capabilities... use him as such..

the assaultman is a more potent front/rear cover with his line damage and the demoman has a short range just like them...

also every team should have a MG just for the dmg aura...

I cant exactly remember how we did it but... Best Team depends on how the people can use their units.. that being said...

Sniper. No questions asked lol
MG. You need his Fire Support
Fire Bat. Tanking or Assault style either one will save you.
2 Medics. One Battle Med one Heal.
Advanced Marksman. The Disable helps a lot.
Engineer. For Hell he is needed. Refill saves lives.

Hmm last slot.. really you could use a multitude of characters here as long as you can use them effectively... Assaultman for his rapid fire high damage ratio when it is needed.. Scout for his Recon abilities but MOSTLY for his Designation to kill boss's twice as quickly. Demoman for his rockets and satchels. or even another MG for heavy suppressing fire on small pockets of zombies.

1- Firebat

6- Shooter #6 Does not Compute

Best team that i've had in NM w/o having to use a single CPR, than again our team consisted of 2 Lt. Col, 1 Major, 1 CSM, and 1 Pvt (Promoted to PFC)

1- Medic(Maybe or Maybe not since Medics are pretty useless at the end of the game :/ i rather have a MG)
2- Sniper/Advance Marksman
3-Engineer
4-Scout
5-Firebat
6-MG
7-Rifleman
8-(Anything really...maybe a MG,Medic,Firebat, or Demolition

ive never seen Assault man in action maybe ill try him out after i get to that rank

medic is imperative in any game... otherwise, people will have to stock up on antidotes and medpacks like mad to counter bleeding and poison... not to count that if you don't have fairly high level players, any fracture your tream has, it will take 10 mins to heal (otherwise 2 mins with the emergency treatment)...

not to mention how much you need healing a lot of the times.... any game (and even more nightmare and hell games) need at least one medic

I think me and mish have tryed that before with two firebats.. but sadly only in nightmare with a random group of people.. but still it worked out.

Takay! your still alive.. anyway yeah ^^ that is a really good group. I just dont know if I like the assault I think I'd trade him for the MG and his Support Fire.

So you can use every class weapon you find and thats a good way to get through a hell game (no Assman because AA doesnt spawn on hell)

I can agree to dragon. Maybe you can use the demo instead of the firebat. I dont care about prabuty, who always says that a demo sucks on hell.

I like big explosions and he is the best to care of this.

If you know how to use him he is really good, even in the lategame. The rockets make dead-meat out of everything which want to rape the bunker.
