Many-a-PC gamers' summer plans were ruined this afternoon, when Blizzard Entertainment announced the long-awaited launch date for its real-time strategy game, Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty. The first installment in the three-part sequel will launch worldwide--China excepted--on July 27 for the PC and Mac and will retail for $60 in the US.

DotD Tournament!
So I had the idea of hosting a tournament staring our beloved Dawn of the Dead map. The tournament will be held March 5 at 11:00pm Battle.net time. You can find the Battle.net time by typing in /time in chat.

You are required to sign up in teams of 2 or 4, so start looking online for the best dotd players you know! You can participate in the 2 man matches and the four man, but cannot be part of multiple teams in the same category....

DotD 6.0 Beta 7b is out !
Following the 1.24 patch there is now a new beta out.
Beta 7b is the only version that works with 1.24. Please stop hosting all obsolete versions from now on.

If anybody wonders what happened to beta 7a: It got trashed after one game.

wow, it passed longtime already since i started to try building a small community around DotD in 2004 , after some attempt finally I setup a forum in mid 2005 with the help of forum-motion. It was the home of the first official Dotd Clan in war3 called clan d0s . I had the chance of leading clan d0s for a year but after some issues regarding my old Bnet...

As a test, there is a chat box active for some days lets see to see what happen ...




at least we can have admins power , bans etc ...
And people will not steal names ( damn this one was fun ... oops ! )





OLD POST : The ShoutBox looks very wierd .. its all black since a few days .. The Host may have some problems with his css database ..

The most recent Dawn of the Dead version made by s3rius. Once again it is time to hunt some undead down! V6.0 offeres a variety of new classes, skills, features and enemies and the whole gameplay backs away from camping and basebuilding....

I'm happy to announce a great new feature of the S.T.A.R.S. homepage: The storywriters Roleplaying Game "The Risen". You can create an individual character - one of the last survivors of humankind - that lives in an apocalyptic scenario: The earth got overrun by the risen undead and now, in the year 1946, you are telling your story. Write in your very own style with just given the background - the rest is up to you and only limited by your imagination.

Don't be shy and simply test it out and start today. You'll see it will be fun to write an interesting, scary or sad story, settled anywhere...

During the next days, it is possible that more or less strange things could happen to the general appearance of the forum. im try to get some things to work.

these include to implement the flash banner without loosing the background and opacity. unfortunately sath didnt give me the password for the javascript file for our forums... i need to find a way around >_<

im also try to upgrade to phpbb 3...

Uhm, i've heard rumors about wc3anvil went down? that true, the site URL seems to be down for me or i have the wrong one...
I've also read on the portal already that s3erius is creating a new dotd map? awesome news after S.T.A.R.S. got corrupted by that evil WEU (or was a new update released for current b.net version?). Anyway, for now i can offer graphic/interface/icon and probably skinning help...

As discussed, i reorganized the forum sections tonight. the basic structure is now finished. please be patient until i can redo some of the forum icons - as the most of you know, im having gfx-card issues currently and therefore i cant use photoshop as well...
