This gonna be released tomorrow Smile and its in preLoading on steam , it looks totally awesome.

I always enjoyed playing COD series.
If you dont know what is that all about check videos ..
Im Downloading it right now Smile i hope the copy will be actived soon
On a TV preview they showed space station with some explosion , i duno if its a mission or a cinematic , i think its a mission as it was in a 'FPS' view.
Music done by great movie composer Smile
"Zimmer's list of movie credits is extensive. He won an Academy Award for his work on The Lion King and his movie credits include films like Crimson Tide, The Rock, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Broken Arrow, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and all three Pirates of the Caribbean movies."

graphics,gameplay,scenario,music , i cant wait playing it ^^

it should be a nice game... but we get so screwed over the console version that i ain't buying that one, if they don't wanna support PC gamers, don't release a bad port like you've announced so damned much for MW2...

i'll try the single player campaign, but i certainly won't give them my money...

The interesting thing is that all of these methods work on normal people, so there`s no need to learn a new set of skills.

Ah yes MW2 it was only a matter of time before it made it's way onto these forums. I have all the ones they released so far on Ps3 but For MW2 I'm going to end up buying it on comp Map packs have pissed me off. and the lack of Mod Support for MW2 on the PC is also disappointing. So MW2 is no longer on the top of my list of games to buy, However I will get it eventually.

Well, imo they're releasing these games a little too quickly to make each one innovative. I played MW1 a little and I liked it, but if there is a second then I want something evolved, not something altered. I'm not quite sure whether this is the case..

Yea S3R I think your right ... they keep releasing another game roughly about a year after the previous one came out. and Oh sure you can add new features but if it's not innovative no ones going to buy it.

yes the lack of interest for PC user is a bit disapointing
btw they used to release one COD opus each year and MW1 was out in 2007.

i heard : no dedicated servers, no mod support, force people to register on steam for online play etc ...

well, we will see more critics in the next few days ...

steam will active the game only the November 12th :-/ , i think consoles gamers are already playing.

retail have launched today, from what i've heard:
online is plagued with people camping spawn points
very laggy and no option to host the game yourself, it seem to be hosted with some "unknowns" behind it... they should really have a "i wanna host" option so that people with good bandwith can make the game better for everyone else...

that's what i heard... i'm currently downloading it for the single player campaign then deleting it, not interested in it that much...

just finished the single player...
MW1 was better, the game is much shorter than the first...

i'm putting my "review" in spoiler tags because it has some light(very VERY light) gameplay spoilers and people might not like what i'm saying Razz
Spoiler:

at least there isn't 50 enemy respawns at the same location like before... but you're always running and gunning and guetting enemy position in multiple formats, it gets confusing to have to look at your compass and stuff to locate enemies to then hear that there is enemies at 11 o'clock (wich you can process more easily)...

riot shield is pretty useless, it's only a show-off for the AI, makes the game boring..

dual wielding is pretty cool, but as the QTE, they are to sho-off console commands more than a PC platform... i liked wielding the 2-shots shotguns, even if it was way too short...

there is way too many sniper missions and chase missons, people liked them in MW1 but having it as one part in a game is fine, but when you're at your 3rd sniper mission, you're tired of being told exactly what to do all the time...

there was some cool moments in the story, but i didn't understand half of it... betrayals all around without following it extremely closely just makes you not care and take the game as a rail shooter more than a FPS...

the "offensive" moment was just a boring moment, skipping it just makes you not waste your time WALKING through an airport...

all the cool dialogue between missions while the game is loading is pretty much gone, you only get some animation and very little information...

i'd give the game a 6.5/10
MW1 was more of a 7/10

what i've played was VERY FAR from being worth 10$ more than any other PC game...
and the dumbed-down multiplayer can't counterbalance it... i'll never buy the game... especially since it's probably never be cheap, MW1 is still too damned expensive for a 2 years old game... OMG 10$ cheaper after 2 years! so cheap!

I just watched the Airport mission and I gotta say, the producers really got balls. Imo it's way to macabre and they exaggerated it a bit.

well the guy who's playing it was shooting everyone... you don't have to, you can just walk it and not shoot a bullet until the cops come...

Probably Because I don't know the story is why I don't quite understand whats going on here but I take it your dude was someone undercover... and you just got your brains splattered all over the pavement at the very end. Back to what I was going to say this really isn't the first game where you kill innocents I don't know why everyone is making a big deal about it. I mean State of emergency.. all you do is kill innocents lol. so in the end I really don't see whats so controversial about it.

. yes it normally should be an infiltration, if you want your dont have to shoot a bullet .. but if you try shoot bullet at the main terrorist, they kill you before 'mission' finish ...
I presume, an agent in infiltration sometime are forced to do what is not in their own conviction, and doing it 'for the good cause' , proove they are in the same state of mind of those who he/she is infiltrating them etc ... in that case it was a big trap for the infiltrated agent as it will return a war declaration ..

i think that game is pretty complete even if its short (4-5h) it have lots of various missions in different countries , tons of units outfit ,enhanced light projections , fog , rain effect , explosions , physical vehicles and better graphisms , more weapons than in mw1 and a quite decent scenario . for me i think its the first time i see a battles like this in US country ... trying to take back the control of the White House was a great moment ...
The only thing i dont like much, but its a part of the scenario background , is that they show the Russian peoples as a terrorist nation.
my fave part are the original snow motorcycle escape , the oil platform and white house mission.
Concerning mulptiplayer i cant compare to mw1 , but its funnier thanCS. you dont have to found a room/server from a list . it choose for you the game to join

Yea I'm sure they made the single player shorter because sure it has single player but for the COD series it's always been about the Multiplayer. Now all games whether they mean to or not seem to portray whatever nation your against as the bad guy. I dunno how the new MP for MW2 is... I'm hoping it's alright but as I said with Zero Mod support I'm already disappointed

I really dugg the single player- a lot going on and much of it actually IS plausible. The effects were out of this world, and I thought the gun selection itself was well thought out (though a friend informed me that the Vector is actually a KRIS in actuality).

Pros:
> The military jargon was spot on for the most part, and a lot of the equipment/armaments/etc was up to spec.
> Continued the storyline (with a few surprises) which I really liked, and the characters (with the exception of Shepherd) were well thought out.
> There were plenty of different roles your character got to perform (ex assaultman (not the DOTD kind Laughing ), sniper, boat driver, support gunner, etc)
> The Spec. Ops addition was a great add on and leaves room for attachments (with XBOX updates).

Cons:
> A few ripoffs from movies: I saw things VERY similar to the Bourne series, The Rock (Nicolas Cage and Sean Connery), and Red Dawn
> Some of the jargon mentioned above was overused- I dont need to know we're Oscar Mike every two seconds from three different soldiers.
> Some of the betrayals (as Mish said) were confusing.

Multiplayer is bar none the best I have ever seen from any game. Well thought out achievements, point system, and buffs. Will definately make things interesting.
