Ye, I remember. Though I have never really seen it doing any good^^
I guess I'll add some features such as the camera shacking when you're near an explosion.

soo... out of curiosity. Did you try coding spider mines? if so how did it work out? I know mines can be coded to move because of the pokemon rpgs ,Staryu is always a land mine >_<

make more bosses spawn after a hour or something... cuz the chickens are easy to kill if you got a good spot... we survived 2 hours and 9 minutes by having a good spot and only defending... with an engineer making ammo, a scout gathering ammo and myself as a firebat using his fuel cells...

challenges are fun ^_^
dieing cuz you run out of ammo with no real challenge isn't.... Sad

Not even the chicken did the job well :/

More chars are yet to come, but they definately will.

Making a mine move is no probably. Making them wait for a target, move towards the enemy, then detonate is the hard thing to do.^^

well you could take the sapper that suicide in warcraft3, make him have the night elf ability of being invisible in the night while not moving... and upgrade his speed or something and have another skin...

Yes, that'd be easiest, but the movement speed would still stay. so a player could run around with that mine until they decide to blow it up.

Acutally in dota the suicide ability of the goblin techies is working like that if u turn autocast on its running to the next target in attack range and explodes close to it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the techies can move at any time, no? Disabling movement and enabling it as soon as the unit acquires a target is what naggs me.

Cant u give the mine 0 ms and the suicide ability (detonation or sth) a ms bonus so it cant move till an enemy is there to suicide.
Maybe i got u wrong but i think u want a mine which cannot move till theres an enemy to explode.

The suicide ability cannot be given a speed bonus. I will think of something. If I can't find any solution I'll have to trigger it.

then an idea i got from remembering The Great Strategy:
make the mine an invisible building that will produce an unit when an enemy comes close to it... the unit spawned would be the sapper with the speed and self-detonate ability, also it would have a limited lifetime...
