Well during my first week of testing i saw that happend on time when i used the rifleman / grenade , I teamkilled someone (not on purpose , it was an accident :grenade: ) then instantantly my little marine disapear from game , and the map was full of fog war. I thought that it was a TK protection or something .

some days ago , we were kiling the 'lurker' i launched a grenade (with rifleman) on the lurker to finish him , my character also disapeared from the game , there was no TK this time.


Did you managed a thing that make pple unable to play on map , in case of problem or else ? now i am afraid of using my rifleman grenade

Mhh...I never had that problem, maybe its really the Anti-TK system.

The use of a grenade should of course not make you vanish into thin air.

If you or anyone else have this bug again, please see if it just happens randomly or if something (e.g. a player died) always happens right before or during it's use.
I myself play rifleman quite often, but I never disappeared.

I also have strange disaperances. This time I am not using a rifleman. I was a medic. Hunter came to attack me. Followed by a successful stun (player shouts: AH! get it off me) and at the same time the Hunter was killed by a teammate. Leaving no coprse of me.

If I am correct the series of events suppose to be:
Player gets stunned -> character vanishes -> create dead character -> Hunter eats corpse -> Hunter releases -> dead character vanished -> character re-appears.

The series for disapperance is:
Player gets stunned -> character vanishes -> Hunter gets killed -> character is no more.

I am not sure if this is related to both cases of disappearance. This is very rare.

No, it's more like Player gets stunned -> Player plays death animation -> hunter gets killed/stun wears off -> Player is resetted.

I have added a fix to the debug-command. Since this bug is very rare and cannot be reproduced I can only guess the cause of this. Time will tell whether the fix works or not.

everytime when i rescue ppl with medvac b4 we go to carpark to rescue civils.

chibi rifleman disappears. and that player have to just watch.

Do you mean that Sgt. Madigan and his team disappears if you call MEDEVAC?
Or do you mean that no chibi marine appears when you rescue a corpse?

ahahaha. i know his issue. It is more of when player is resurrected as chibi rifleman, he joins the NPC team boarding the chopper at mission 1. I'll post more details later some players are itching for a game.

Yes, that could be. I can't look in the source code right now (logging in throught school network^^), but if I remember it correctly I didn't do a player-check 'cause I didn't intend people to use mini-marines at the time I've programmed the first mission.

Last night while playing shot a explosive from a gun at the hydra when I suddenly disappeared off the map. didn't think about getting a replay at the time

Yes, please. Until now I haven't been able to actually see a replay of a game where a character disappears. Chances that I can fix it are still low, though.
