yesterday (i think) when we got to the lab cinematic 2 people died... i think they were in a green cloud when the cinematic died....
i was sure we were invulnerable while the cinematics were playing... it was really cheap deaths...

I've only ever had one questionable act happen during a cinimatic and that was a garg attacking the marine who went into the lab. The marines are not invulnerable though otherwise the plants tenticles wouldnt be able to attack them... however the rest of them I'm not sure.. you cant exactly see your armor after the cinimatic is over

Players are not invulnerable during cinematic. Changed that now.

well the cinematics themselves aren't using the player's models... otherwise you'd see the red ball floating around the firebat's gun when he's in a cinematic... so i don't care about them it's only the real players that matter in this, dieing because you happened to be at the worst place to launch the cinematic sucks... especially losing 2 players... you lose 2/3 of the CPR kits because of it... really sucks...

Well speaking about cinematics, i'd like to raise a rather related topic. Its about the cinematics at the sewers. has anyone noticed that, after the cinematics, the nearest tentacle tends to shoot once at the marine who triggered the cinematic. And i've noticed it deals damage too.

true... also the plant at the forest does that too... but with the players being invincible till the cinematic ends, it won't fire while the player can't be controlled yet so it won't matter...

hmmm will it be able to put skip cinematic? by host just pressing esc cinem gets rly annoying after while.

Lol, due to a small mistake with the invulnerability, the Power Plant became vulnerable after the cinematic ended.. gargoyles came and fucked it up and we didn't notice.
After we got spare parts we were like WTF where the hell's the building

That really really sucks. I hate cinematics.
