So you were player Red in this replay?
I have watched it and for me there is no Red in-game. Only Blue, Teal, bla bla. I haven't seen any chat of you, haven't seen your hero etc.

You say you can't pick up items.. If you try to, what happens then? Do you immediately drop them again (like when trying to pick up 2 armors)?

To me that looks like some sort of weird semi-split. Can't help that. Best thing you can do is to remake if that happens or to play with it.

I'm red a lot since I can host myself and this has never happened to me as red. But I believe you've been affected by a desync in the game, it's quite an uncommon occurrence where the game splits and someone gets to be in their own game.

lol yeah... that happened to me with Underhand and I forget who it was who split... they could still talk to us but everything that happened on their screen was differant from what we were seeing xD they however could still pick up weapons/ammo ect.

hello again, yes i was blue in the replay, but in the other game i was red, but now i think i know why that bizarre bug happens its the MH ^^
btw when that happens u just cant pick up the items, they are "unclickable"
i have another bug to report and this one i am sure its is not due to the MH i have a another replay Razz
by min 25 the medic gets perma bleeding, as you can see he uses trans and it disspaears and then comes back, after a while he also gets perma infected, the only solution we found was tking xD
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PBCVD7Q1
EDIT: sry about the MH stuff, i prefer to find items and can pick them up rather than finding and cant pick up MH OFF ^^
got any server for replays? or i can keep uploading them to mega? i think it can be anoying

Death your aware we have a few members who previously MHed in our clan right now and a certain someone on west who used to/still does on the forums? lol.. we dont approve of it but that helps the problem quite a bit...

Doble by using a map hack in the game it messes up the triggers... essentially you are ruining your own games by map hacking because certain triggers will respond in very strange ways.. (item drops, mission glitches, NPC bugs ect.)

Unfortunately mixing that to an already buggy first attempt beta on the new patch with a bunch of new stuff could be having unfortunate side effects in your games lol. I used to deal with it almost every game when I played on west...

Well that is not my issue that none of you want remove him and ban/blacklist him. I am certain the means are not lacking, just that certain willingness no one seems to have around here to get it done. Neither am I concerned to what underlying reasons why he's kept here and why nothing has been done. You should not be so critical of me, more so wonder about the hypocrisy present here.

Let me be very honest here I don't see a "we", only that I'm being told that I should tolerate someone who comes to our forums asking for help about a "bug", which is really just a result of his own exploitation of the game. Which is certainly far worse then teamkilling on purpose, but I can't tell him to GTFO.

i can't do anything about it on the forums, i got no authority here.... but he's added to the banned players on my bot with the name of the blue player in his replay...

if you break the game with your hacks, don't come complaining that the game doesn't work like it should... you're worse than a noob with a general rank as you make every single game you play an easy one because you can't play the game as it was intended to be...

Not that I want to defend maphacking, but I can't see why it should be worse than fucking up the game for everyone by teamkilling.

I prefer Rapidshare as an uploader (is easier for me), but we don't have a server ourselves.

Workaround for this bug is here: http://www.dotd-stars.com/dotd-6-bug-reports-f7/bug-report-beta-7-t1012.htm

Hmmm

Ppl who exploit a bug or hack, are ppl who only enjoy success, therefore, they lose the whole idea of a challenge.

Still, challenges are for yourself. If u decide to cheat, then u are lying to urself. This whole concept doesn't only apply for a game, but for everything Razz...

In this case, i dont think its worst than TKing, since TKing makes u screw other ppl gaming, while MH only screw up YOUR gaming experience.

Either way, every infraction should always suffer a punishment Razz or at least that's how i see it =)

beware a long post is being posted!
well in that replay we were just holding a position until we run out of ammo for easy(noob?) exp, there arent many good players in the unoficial server i play(a pvpgn argentinean server, yup i dont play azeroth) serach for 3dgames in google and maybe add argentina and u should find it(if u even have a little will to play atleast 1 game with me Razz, i wont MH Smile)
after tking him to "remove his ailments" we ressed him
just after i posted this i readed the workarround in another post Razz
seems like the camping for exp goes bad with that bug maybe it should be there to avoid getting exp in that way or give u a more deadly bleeding
a guy told me there is a locust swarm that makes camping impossible, well i survived 2 hours and we didnt see it
btw was i asking help? i tought i was reporting a bug, kinda i am the one helping everyone`s games by telling Mr. s3rious "hey look at this, should this happen?"
or i was saying "help me make MH work in this map", then after i posted i realised it was the MH
so Mr. s3rious has nothing to worry Smile, i wonder if i kept my mouth shut and didnt say anything about the MH, maybe Mr. s3rious would have wasted precious time in triying to solve a "fake bug"
also the bleed was already reported so i kinda completly screwed myself xD
well if i see another bug "i will be back"
and if you think my signature is wrong PMme or just remove it from my profile, i find it funny, a great bad beggining ^^

about MH(he said MH burn him!!!!) ^^
btw MH in dota gives you and advantage vs non-mhers and also its an e-sport so i think it can be compared up to a certain point with using drugs in real sports

mh vs zombies that have global vision against you, evens the situation(like if the zombies where using MH and u dont, well i havent asked Mr. s3rious if that actually happens i just think that is the reason why zombies keep finding us, how else would zombies find us from such distances?, dont blame triggers ¬¬)
also, can you win witouth items? post me a replay Smile(yes items are easy to find, call me a noob or something worse, but i want that to be an easier task and the unholy forbidden and tabootist MH makes that, atleast until it bugs you out and you cant pick up anything wich is a super funny punishment for being greedy "items are here, but you cant pick them up" hahahaha really funny dont you think?)

well what else can i say?
i agree with piscis every action has its consecuences, so wich is my punishment?(feels a ban hammer near his head)
also sorry for all the misspellings they are not intended Sad

The zombies don't maphack. But they can make our your approximate location with their keen senses and once an undead spots you all nearby zombies will also be alarmed.
You can hide from them if you act clever and use high-ground or sight-blockers like trees to your advantage.

About the Locust swarm.. it caused bugs so I had to disable it for B7.

Did anyone notice that sometimes when you use the rapid fire ability as the mg, and mow downs zombies that you don't use any ammunitions at all even though you are sending a shitload of rounds down range? Maybe I'm toggling hacks on/off though, because it seems inconsistent.

you don't need maphack to find items.... you just need to travel around and find them... there is caches of items that are in some spots usually, just travelling there while in the civilians rescueing mission makes you gather plenty enough for normal mode...

I am sorry to say this but Doblefilo is right. I'm watching some of my replays & removing the fog and I can clearly see ALL the zombies walking toward our platoon from as far as the other side of the map. We see the new zombies just appearing in the map and already moving toward the group which is at the opposite location.

Now the only explication I can find if you do say the truth, it's that zombies' keen senses stack which each others?! What I mean by there is that let's say the group is at
X:100, Y:100 and a zombie is at X:100, Y:130 and his keen senses let him know where the group is so he start moving toward but then, zombies around him also get alerted, so let's say both zombie 2 at X:130, Y:130 and zombie 3 at X:70, Y:130 receive that alert. They start moving toward the group too. Now the stacking point I'm talking about is: Does zombies near the zombie that got alerted also get alerted? Cause if every zombies alert nearby zombies in a 500m radius or something, then OF COURSE all the zombies on the map will know the group' location at every point of the game...

And if this is the case, well it sux =.=

Well I could have proved that they dont always know your location.
But then I would have to find a replay that clearly shows that they dont.

Anyway my point is. That many many times if you walk around they wont know your location if you're fast and clever and lucky of course.

It have happened me many times that you just walked up on a cliff and guess what, the zombies below have no clue where I'm.

From time to time all zombies receive to order to attack a random player, no matter if they see your or not. That are their "keen senses". However, they will only move to the place you were at when they got the order. If you moved away and avoided all contact with zombies, then they don't know where you are and will wander around aimlessly or just stand still until they find you or get another order.

A zombie will attack you if he sees you or if you attack him. Both events will alert all zombies nearby and they will all close in on you. If they can't find you quickly they will lose interest and stop chasing you.

All zombies share vision. That means that, if one notices you, all know your location, but only those nearby will directly attack you. Zombies which are far away still won't notice you, even if you launch some fireworks.

Zombies' "keen senses" are more likely to chose you as their target if other zombies already see you. That means if you have a gargoyle on your toes, then the zombies on the other side of the map are more likely to get close to you than to a player who maintains a low profile.

They don't maphack. They're more like communists who share everything amonst each other Twisted Evil

lol. its basically why stealth abilities work so well to get them off your back.. you might run in to 2-3 more zombies after your out of stealth but for the most part they are much more interested in the other group firing at their friends lol
